The world of Unexplored 2 is vast and rich, and it is your task to discover it. Despite dying, the world may persist. It’s a cool take on permadeath. The game is a procedural action RPG without grinding, experience, or gold. Choose your actions and see how they affect the story as it unfolds.
You will have to traverse your world as the titular Wayfarer in order to destroy the Staff of Yendor. Your journey will take you through ancient ruins where you will discover mythical weapons and historic items as you meet tribes, encounter magical creatures and explore ancient ruins.
As soon as you die…
You will die often in this game because it is challenging. Before traveling in a desert, you may make a wrong choice, take on too many creatures, or forget to stock up on food. You can’t bring your character back after they die, no matter what the reason may be. Autosave and quick load are not available. In the same world, you can continue your adventures with a new character a few years later. Depending on the choices your previous character made, your new character will witness the consequences. Items can be left in a safe place for your next Wayfarer to pick up and use.
End of the world
With consecutive Wayfarers in the same world, you can try to destroy the Staff of Yendor. In contrast, if you die during the final mission, your world comes to an end. Forever. Ensure you are prepared well for the last, most dangerous part of your adventure. In the event that you fail, that world disappears. In order to restart the quest, we must create a new world with its own history.
