The Legend of Heroes series continues with a thrilling chapter about Crossbell! An ongoing territorial struggle between the Erebonian Empire and the Republic of Calvard has led to the development of Crossbell as one of the continent’s economic hubs. In order to follow in his late brother’s footsteps, Lloyd Bannings returns to his hometown to join the Crossbell Police Department after three years away. On arrival, he discovers he has been assigned to the Special Support Section, a division that handles odd jobs and minor requests. The young tech genius meets his new teammates, including Elie MacDowell, the granddaughter of the mayor; Randy Orlando, a womanizing ex-soldier; and Tio Plato. Lloyd and his friends continue to fight to make their city a better place despite being mocked by the media and looked down upon by the rest of the CPD. They slowly come face-to-face with the criminal corruption that grips their city, however.
