A rogue artificial intelligence has already conquered a galaxy in AI War 2, a grand strategy/RTS hybrid. In 2009, Tom Sykes, PC Gamer called it “one of the year’s best strategy games” (another Arcen title).
Artificial intelligence that’s more devious and acclaimed than ever returns… with a host of common enemies. Defeat an upgraded AI that has once again taken over the entire galaxy, leaving you with only a tiny planet to defend. Strive to outwit it nonetheless by finding clever ways to do so. All the new capturable, larger fleets, and hacking capabilities are sure to help. It will come in handy.
Alternatively, you can engage in an even more complex galactic conflict involving macrophages, Dyson spheres, and more. The goals, rules, units, and economies of other factions are entirely different. Suppose you are on a small farm in the middle of World War XV, nobody likes you, but if you just kill one angry enemy leader, this will all be over.
